One of my absolute favourite parts of my job is that I get to discover amazing brands and pieces with every season. But of all the new things that come across my desk, I always find a couple that really catch my eye, inspire me and that I don’t want to take off! I’m sure you guys have seen me talk about Wrap London before (check it out here), frankly addicted to their seasonal collections, but I’ve recently fallen head over heels for their silk blouses. The colour(s) is perfect for my non colour taste, it’s not too much nor too little, so elegant and is easily the best transitional piece from Winter to Spring weather; even into summer (if it proofs to still be chilly)
These past few months (which has seemed like the longest winter since I’ve lived in London), I’ve really loved wearing deeper colours for the Winter, but with Springtime upon us I’m definitely leaning towards a light and airy approach with my outfit colour palette. With lighter greys like this amazing satchel bag from Next, to tone down greens like the blouse from Wrap London, they work perfectly with a suede jacket, pump hells, and light fabric jeans.
I want to keep my Spring colour palette as fresh as possible without going too bright and vibrate, as that’s totally not my vibe; I want to keep it pretty simple.
However, no matter you’re vide, toned down colour palette or bright and vibrate, making the transition from Winter to Spring requires lighter fabrics that you can easily pack if you go on a trip and that don’t feel too heavy on you. As an example, silk and suede are totally the right way to go, and don’t they look cute combined together?!
Check out Wrap London and their seasonal collections here.
Who else is excited to break out their Spring colours? Let me know in the comments below and I hope you have a great weekend!
