Cristian Tarcea has worked hard to create a music producer’s dream career, and he’s living it. Editor-in-Chief Luoana speaks to Cristian about the ups and downs he’s faced in the music industry, owning multiple businesses, and how this has all shaped the kind of artists he is now.
It’s a lovely day in August. The sunrise is peaking and it’s too early for a shoot, but we have the crew and we’re en route to join Cristian on his latest music video shoot; we wanted to catch him bright and early to discuss the new amazing single 3 to 1 with Monoir x Eneli he’s launching! Not long before we arrive at our location, his crew begins setting up. With the sun due coming in, everyone is on a race to catch the best footage for his latest music video. Too sunny and it’s not right, too dark and it comes out moody. After a few minutes, Cristian just appears, and despite the early call time, he’s particularly happy to see everyone. Cristian swiftly glides around, greeting every member of the crew with a smiling hello and encouraging “let’s do this”.
Prior to interviewing him for this wonderful cover story, I realised Cristian and I have known each other for half a lifetime. Despite the great friendship over the years, it was the first time I had sat down and had the opportunity to speak with him openly about the very highs and the lowest lows his career has brought to this life.
Not at all unexpected….
